Isabel Hughes, Head of Operations, Kings Camps
Kings Camps have been established since 1992, providing activity camps to thousands of children across the U.K. Our camps combine the best elements of sports and holiday clubs to get children active, having fun and learning together.
With a wide range of sports and games, children develop socially while learning new skills and building lasting friendships. Our experienced coaches all have the 'Kings Factor' - a unique way of engaging children to ensure they get the most out of their time with Kings.
Online Learning is our unique online training portal that will teach you everything you need to know about working on camp.
To log in, head to your Kings recruit profile, click on 'Contracts' and scroll to the bottom of the screen where you will see your unique Training and Resource Logins.
As a reminder, your password is your first name, date of birth (year/month/day), then surname, i.e. John19840804Smith.
All Online Learning needs to be completed 1 week prior to your contract start date. However, you may be asked to complete it prior to National Training.
Keep these safe as your Regional Manager may request to see them.
You must print in colour your Safeguarding on Camp certificate and take it along to your pre-camp induction day to display on the wall.
Online Learning is tailor-made so that each course you are enrolled on is unique to your role on camp. O.L covers Camp Expectations, The Kings Factor, Looking After Children, Safeguarding on Camp and role-specific modules.
Failure to complete O.L will put your employment contract with us at risk.
It is vital that all our staff are fully trained and familiar with all our policies and procedures.
Please be aware that we will chase those that have failed to complete their O.L the week prior to your contract start date.
Online Learning is expected to take approximately 3 hours in total.
Please note that you do not have to complete all 3 hours in one go and you may take a module at a time.
